These recipes are more of your “typical” backpacking foods: freeze-dried, instant, simple re-heating with water, etc.

Lower and Slower Options

These recipes are closer to the food you would eat at home, and often include fresh vegetables, meats, potatoes, etc. They are more time-intensive, labor-intensive, and often require ingredients that will not stay fresh for multiple days, but can be a really nice experiment for an overnight trip. And they are DELICIOUS!
